This Thai-styled house served as part of the museum, showcasing the elegance of Thai architecture.
Entrance to the King’s residence. Too bad we weren’t allowed to take photos inside.
I had a chance to visit Sanamchan Palace of King Rama IV during the rainy season of 2005. The huge area of the palace includes the King’s residence and training ground for soldiers and scouts during its time. It also houses a statue of the King’s dog, very well-known in Thailand for its loyalty. Now the area was turned into a museum with very beautiful surroundings. That day, the sky was cloudy and heavy rain followed after my visit!
The palace ground surrounded by lush green trees of all sizes.
And this is me with the deer-shaped tree. ^_^
Inspired by European architecture. The main throne hall reminds me of Disneyland! ^_^
